By will work for shoes
This table is beautiful.Very heavy and solid, well made and looks like it was far more expensive than it is. As mentioned in pervious review folds into a desk which has made it very useful for me. The front of the top folds back on hidden hinges and the door front drops down . There are 2 drawers inside, open it only adds about 6 inches to the width so still does not get in the way.This table matches my dark cherry dinning table. It is the perfect height for behind my sectional. Because of the open floor plan of my home I am able to use it as a serving area when we have parties.

This is a beautiful table, I have it in my entry hall and just love. It opens up to a writing desk which was not in the description. It was a really nice surprise.
